The Shared Homies Story 🏡
It all began when I noticed how difficult it was for international students and expats to find affordable and suitable housing in Korea. With the pandemic, things only became worse. The quarantine measures, language barrier, and cultural differences made it harder for them to settle in and find a place to call home.
I knew the struggles of navigating through the city, trying to find an apartment, and then furnishing it. And even if they managed to find a place, they often felt isolated and lonely, without any sense of community or belonging.
That's when I decided to do something about it.
I started Shared Homies with the aim of creating a shared living experience that was not just affordable and convenient, but also warm and welcoming. A place where people from different backgrounds could come together, share their experiences, and create lifelong friendships.
We understand that everyone has different preferences and expectations when it comes to their living environment, and we work hard to ensure that everyone is happy and comfortable.
We believe that a shared house is not just a place to sleep, but a place to create memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
Our Mission 🦾
At Shared Homies, our mission is to provide a welcoming and affordable shared living experience for internationals in Korea. We strive to create a sense of community and belonging, where our homies can connect and create lifelong friendships.
Our Vision 👀
We aim to create a network of homies across the country, who share a passion for cultural exchange and community building. We envision a future where everyone can find a place to call home, no matter where they come from.
